What is a Reflexive Verb – A1
Reflexive verbs are those where the subject and the object are the same.
The following example is not a reflexive: I have a house because “I” – is the subject and “a house” – is the direct object. Since they are different “have” is not a reflexive action.
However, if we say: “I wash myself” both “I” and “myself” refer to the same person and therefore we have a reflexive action.
In Spanish that would be translated as: “Yo me lavo“
LAVARSE
YO ME LAVO
TÚ TE LAVAS
ÉL SE LAVA
NOSOTROS NOS LAVAMOS
VOSOTROS OS LAVÁIS
ELLOS SE LAVAN
